Our long distance relationship has turned to an engagement. Any advice from those who have walked this path?

My sailor and I live 4 hours away from each other in two neighboring states and has never spent more than 2 weeks together (although we talk everyday on the phone and are each other's best friends). He drives up once per month for a weekend to see me, somestimes every other weekend. We've been together for 2+ years now and built this relationship on long distancce from the very start. He recently asked me to marry him after I flew to meet his parents by myself in the midwest.

The issue is that I must finish nursing school (2 more years to go) first before I can move where he is and be with him. He wants to get married now inspite of this. I am not afraid, but it is like how will we be when we finally merge, and that is a concern? How do I deal with this? Our long distance relationship has turned to an engagement. Everything will work out for you if it was meant to. I had almost the same experience. We met before I joined the Navy then visited and stayed in touch. We thought it would never work but it worked just fine, we married 2 years after we met.
