Hi,
There are few people I can ask this question as it will likely get back to the intended recipient!
My girlfriend has in the past said that she likes wedding sets rather than seperate engagement and wedding rings... no problem there.
When buying the wedding set would you present both rings when asking the question? Or would you keep the weeding ring until the big day?
Reason for asking is that if I can buy the engagement ring now and the wedding ring later (I have checked with the jeweller and they says that this is fine!) then I will be able to afford a much better diamond for the engagement ring.
Jeweller also says that they rarely discontinue their ranges of rings and if that does happen they can always special order the wedding ring to match the engagement ring... so no worries there.
Appreciate your thoughts.

Good plan.
Make sure that everything that the jeweler has told you is in writing!

*Engagement advice needed?
My fiance bought me a bridal set and although he purchased them together as a set, he only gave me the engagement ring when he proposed. The wedding band is hidden somewhere in our house waiting til our wedding day.
It sounds like you answered question already. I would get the wedding band later, this way you can get the ring you feel she deserves.
That sounds like a good plan, assuming that she likes the set you have picked out.
