My fiance broke up with me...and returned the engagement ring???? need advice, please?

We r engaged.. we met when she was doing her masters in psychology here, in England...


Shes from Brazil, and now that she got her degree, she returned to her country...we r so far...but I always travel to Brazil to see her, and sometimes she comes...She worth it, shes perfect, love of my life... we didnt got married before, only because she doesnt want to move to England..


But the worst problem is that my fiance called few days ago and broke up with me... I already bought a ticket to Brazil in order to resolve it...but today i received a fedex package with her engagement ring (and many other things)...I think she is really serious about her decision.


The problem is that shes right, she found out that I cheated on her...I know.. huge mistake, though I was drunk...I screwed up...


For sure I know who told her...MY 'friend', because since I introduce them, he doesnt stop talking how shes beautiful, gorgeous, intelligent ...then..suddenly she knows that I cheated on her? how is possible, if she lives in Brazil? Im furious...


I dont believe its over now, I am trying call her, but I think she changed her phone number..so, I called her parents, her father told me no need to come, because she already made her decision....Im desperate!!! her friends dont pick up the phone...WTF!

First off, beat the **** out of your friend. And hey what the hell, go to Brazil. Worst case scenario you're in Brazil, she rejects you, you get blackout drunk and have sex with a cat. well first of all you never ever cheat. Not even when you are drunk, and what if you get drunk and do it again? Im sure that's what she is thinking. But if she really means that much to you then go to Brazil and go to all her family's house and her friends and find her. If its meant to be you will find her.
I know you probably don't want to hear this but it's over, once she returned the ring she was serious and will not take you back.





I don't understand how you can still call your friend a friend if that is true. If I were you I would keep my distance for a while. Maybe later you can send her a letter just inquiring how she is doing and say something like you hope she is doing well and wish her all the best that life has to offer. That you hope your mistake can one day be forgiven and you can be friends. Then tell her that your sorry for what you did and give her time. Let her come to you if and when she forgives you.





Maybe one day she will forgive you but you need to give her space for quite a while right now.
